We have been working lately with some lovely Swamp Kauri and Swamp Puriri from the upper North Island. This wood has been aged at around 4,000 years old and has some lovely colouring in it.
Swamp Kauri and Swamp Puriri are in limited supply and heavily managed to ensure that the remaining stocks are not exploited. Bryan T Woodturning uses all of our wood from the planks cut to size, through to the offcuts and waste pieces set into resin so that we reduce any waste of this precious resource.
